We’ve received our first artifact donation of 2016. This album consists of photos from a United Nations Displaced Person camp in Santa Cesarea, Italy. Between the summer of 1945 and 1948 over 50,000 Jewish refugees passed through Displaced Persons camps in Italy.

This album was put together by refugees at the camp and given to Edward Garrett, the Storekeeper who worked for the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration. The photo album was generously donated by his family.
