Who We Are

Every gift helps ensure the lessons of the Holocaust remain accessible to future generations. Because of supporters like you, the Virginia Holocaust Museum can offer free admission for students and children, preserve thousands of artifacts and survivor testimonies, provide professional development for educators, and create exhibits and programs that inspire visitors to confront hatred, prejudice, and indifference.

Your support makes possible:

  • Free admission for students, children, and active military personnel so financial barriers never prevent learning.

  • Preservation of more than 4,800 Holocaust artifacts and survivor testimonies, ensuring these firsthand stories remain available for future generations.

  • New and renovated exhibits that connect history to today's world and encourage thoughtful conversations about antisemitism, prejudice, and civic responsibility.

Bus Scholarship Program
Bus Scholarships open the doors for students who might never otherwise visit the Virginia Holocaust Museum. By funding transportation, you help teachers turn lessons into lived experiences, where students connect with survivor stories, explore artifacts, and see history through human eyes.
Your support gets them here.

Exhibit Renovations Campaign
Your gift helps renew and improve exhibits so the Museum can continue teaching the history of the Holocaust with clarity, relevance, and impact. Support this work and help ensure that the Museum’s exhibitions remain meaningful for today’s visitors and future generations.

Donating Artifacts
The Virginia Holocaust Museum is actively seeking materials from survivors, liberators, and eyewitnesses to help preserve the memory of the Holocaust. Donations to the collection help ensure that these stories and objects are protected and shared for generations to come.
