Temporary Weekday Museum Closure

Effective February 1, 2023

  • Due to construction, VHM will be closed to the public Monday through Friday but will remain open on the weekends.
  • The front entrance doors of the Museum will be closed. Please enter the Museum through the Choral Synagogue Auditorium doors located near the intersection of 21st Street and East Cary Street.
  • Scheduled tours will be honored.
  • Contact Guest Services Director Matt Simpson with questions.

MICHELE ASHER HOLOCAUST EDUCATION FUND

The Michele Asher Holocaust Education Fund celebrates the life and legacy of its namesake, an incredible woman who passed away in November. Michele was passionate about Holocaust education and ensuring the lessons of the past are never forgotten nor repeated. Your donation will go towards the many Holocaust education initiatives the Museum hosts throughout the year.
