Donating Artifacts to the Museum

The Virginia Holocaust Museum is actively seeking materials from Holocaust survivors, liberators, and eyewitnesses to help preserve the history and memory of the Holocaust. If you are looking for how to donate Holocaust artifacts, our Collections Department is here to help guide you through the process. By donating artifacts, you help ensure these important stories remain accessible to researchers, educators, students, and future generations.

The Museum collects materials connected to Virginia, most commonly from Holocaust survivors who settled in the Commonwealth after the war or from Virginia service members who participated in the liberation of Nazi concentration camps. The Museum no longer accepts Nazi material culture, including flags, armbands, daggers, or other military items.
