It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Meir Binshtok. Meir, aged 85, passed away on April 5, 2024 in Richmond, Virginia. In Israel, he studied tool and die design at Shevach Technical Institute and served as a Sergeant in the Israel Armed Forces. In 1963, a self-professed lover of travel, Meir arrived in the United States as a tourist, but there he found the love of his life, Esther. They married in Richmond in 1965 and began a new adventure focused on their children, extended family and community. He proudly became a US citizen in 1969. In 1970, Meir founded MR.FIX-IT, a class-A contractor, specializing in remodeling. An award-winning family business rooted in integrity, he ran the company for over 40 years.
